We brewed this decadent beer in collaboration with our friends from Modern Times of San Diego, California. This beer is loaded with Tahitian vanilla beans, locally roasted Dominican and Haitian cacao nibs and coffee roasted by Modern Times. The result is a thick bodied dessert-like beer heavy on coffee aromas. When taking a sip the perceived flavors bounce back and forth between the three treatment ingredients making for an interesting tasting experience that lasts about 10-15 seconds on the palate before the flavors stop changing.
