Wolverines incoming! We teamed up with our buddies at Beach Cat Brewing up in Birch Bay to create a red rye IPA unlike any you have ever tasted. Simpsons Finest Golden Promise malt provides a perfect base for hefty additions of malted rye and Simpsons Red Rye Crystal malt to top it off. Classic Pacific Northwest Centennial and Cascade hops were added during the boil and whirlpool to complement the rye spice with a resinous grapefruit flavor. We then packed the dry hop with Centennial, Cascade, Citra, and Chinook over three generous additions to bring forth intense fruity and citrus aromatics. Truly an old school IPA brewed in a new school fashion!
