Station to Station is a combined effort with Ravenna Brewing Company in honor of our friends at Elizabeth Station for their 7th Anniversary party on March 15th.
Composed of oak barrel aged saisons and sour ales, this blend offers aromas of straw and tangerine, cracked pepper and white wine grape. Restrained acidity, mellow oak and light malt profile characterize the marriage of these ales.
The saison portions were barrel aged for 3-4 months and contribute spicy, dry and hoppy flavors to the mix. The sour ale portions come from 12 month old golden and 6 month old sour ale presenting oaky, mature and acidic presence in the beer. The final blend is meant to bring balance to the force, not leave it in tartness.
