Loose Stave Barrel Aged Sour

When beer meets wine, winemaker meets brewer!! A new Blizzard and Feathertop Winery collaboration!
The beer is a golden ale fermented in oak barrels over Feathertop Cabernet skins. It was then aged for an extended period allowing the beer to become naturally tart and sour. This is a complex and exceptionally good food beer with a lovely malt and slight acetic acid aroma, a biscuity malt and wine flavour, and a clean acid tart finish.
Kel Boynton named it "The Loose Stave", as there was indeed a loose stave floating around in the barrel that they couldn't get out!
