My Saddle, My Pony, and Me is named loosely after the song My Rifle, My Pony, and Me. Made famous by Dean Martin’s classic western movie Rio Grande, we thought it was an even cooler name without the gun. Inspired by classic American Pale Ales, it is just the right combination of a malty backbone and nice, balanced bitterness that fades away to reveal aromas of citrus fruit and orange blossoms. Packing a saddlebag full of Amarillo, and dry hopped with Cascade, Centennial, Simcoe, and Amarillo hops, this light amber beer makes for three good companions and leaves you craving the next sip.
