A Kveik Black Oat IPA, was brewed with our friends, Norsemen Brewing Company of Topeka. We took a Black IPA and approached it in a New England - Style fashion. We added oats to impart a more luscious mouthfeel, fermented with Norwegian Kveik yeast providing tropical and stone fruit flavors and finally, heavy dry-hop additions of Azacca and Idaho 7 hops to further accentuate the tropical vibes while maintaining the original style’s familiar notes of pine, black tea and dank resin.
