Many in Crescent City have heard about the boat Kamome and Rikuzentakata, Japan, and many have had the opportunity to be directly involved with our Sister City. Now this tale of two cities is available for everyone to share. The Kamome Documentary can be seen on NBC’s new free streaming service, Peacock. The Documentary was originally supposed to air during the 2020 Olympics before our world drastically changed and will now air during the 2021 Olympics. This is a story we can be proud of in our community and is full of symbols of hope including a boat traveling thousands of miles across the ocean, redwood trees and pine trees, and to add to these symbols-SeaQuake Kamome Ale.
