Ringneck was originally a fall seasonal, brewed to celebrate the famous sporting bird of southwest Minnesota. However, popular demand made it year-round. Toasted oats lend a fruit nuance reminiscent of raspberry, while layers of crystal malts build a caramel and toffee base. Hops are muted, and allow a cask-style yeast to create a malty, full-body ale.
