Our Russian Imperial Stout is brewed with 8 different high roasted and kilned malts producing a deep depth of flavors. The darkness hits your pallet, producing dark toffee, inky and chocolate-like roastiness. This rich flavor is complimented by a warmth that is perfect for this time of year. Lost Moon goes through a double fermentation with Champagne yeast to create a very dry finish. Last fall, a limited amount was transferred into oak barrels. Lost Moon collected vanilla and roasted character from these Whiskey Barrels creating Barrel-Aged Lost Moon.
