Koninklijke Grolsch

Grolsch Brewery is a Dutch brewery in Enschede, yet founded in Groenlo (Grol). It was established by Willem Neerfeldt in 1615. The brewery is notable for its Grolsch Premium Pilsner, a lager beer with five percent alcohol content. The Grolsch brewery is considered a family brewery since Willem Neerfedlt’s son-in-law, Peter Sanford Cuyper, later managed its operation.
The brewery has done international distribution, making it the 21st largest beer producer in the world. At the same time, it was considered to be the second largest brewery in Netherlands. Among its more than 15 types of beers, the Premium Pilsner is the driving force behind Grolsch Brewery’s success.
